Who Am I?

My blogs name, ”Compassionate Khimatics” originated from the word Compassionate simply because they says I'm a kind-hearted person and Khimatics from my first name, Kimberly, and Mathematics. The subject Mathematics because this is my favorite subject. I know there’s a lot of people who hate this subject and some are gifted. But for me, it’s a challenging subject. Why? Simply because it challenge me to think a solution to any problem. Just like human being, I know that there are problems that we faced but still we’re always looking for a solution for this particular problem.

In mathematics, there’s a lot of competitions that we can compete, like the Philippine Math Olympiad, Mathematch, Metrobank MTAP-Challenge, etc.. There are also a lot of competitions I’ve compete for our school. Since elementary, I’ve been competing in different Math competitions until now that I’m a third year highschool student in Col. Lauro D. Dizon Memorial National High School.

“If people do not believe that MATHEMATICS Is SIMPLE, it is only because they do not realize how complicated life is.” It is a quote about mathematics that I really admired.

World of Computers

http://joel-thedarkness.blogspot.com
I am a responsible netizen or Internet User in a way that I use it in a good way like surfing in a particular site, chatting or communicating with my friends and relatives who lives distant from us, and watching exciting videos. I only use the internet for good and not for any non-sense things like watching a naked videos. I use the internet for searching some information for my assignments and projects, and knowing things I don’t know yet.
Before I enter a particular site, there’s always a rule that we should do. We oblige to pursue it because it is for our own advantages.
There’s a lot of site that you can visit like Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia, Facebook, Gmail, twitter,  Friendster, Blogspot , etc..Before entering any of these sites, there are some rules and regulations that you should follow. This will help you to prevent you some mistakes. These sites helps us in different ways so let’s just take it and not used it in bad way. Don’t push ourselves to do bad things for we know that it can’t help us and can harm us. There are still people that are still doing bad, they are called the hackers. We should not let ourselves to do like what they do.
There are lot of people who are new in the world of computers. Like them, we should follow the rules and regulation to minimize our mistakes and to make friends with others rather than enemies, and if you follow the rules and regulation you're less likely to make the kind of mistake that will prevent us from making friend. We should know where we are in these world and know what we're talking about and make sense. We should avoid teasing others and don't be bad when chatting or talking to anyone that we don't know already very well.
In this world, there's a lot of thing that we should considered for our own good. Like in blog, there are a lot of type of blog but the most common type of blog is the personal blog. In these blog, we can do anything we want to our own blog but we should respect the reputation of others. Before posting anything on your wall, we should remember the people around us. Be sure that your work is original or else it will be mark as plagiarism. We should respect the privacy of others. Failing to respect the privacy of others is not just bad. It could also cost your job.

The J.S Prom of our school was happened last February 11, 2011 at San Pablo Central Gymnasium. The motif of the said event is Hawaiian, so the party was called the Hawaiian Luan Party. The students, male or female, wear their beautiful floral dresses and polo, even the teachers too. As the students came continuously, there is a band that continuously making sounds from their different musical instruments like you were really in Hawaii. The event starts  with a prayer by Mrs. Diocelyn Quides, 3-science adviser. Then a group of fire dancers dance. After that, a representative by each section in third year and fourth year will perform a dance called the Hua Lua Dance which is choreographed by Mr. Jayson and Mr. Egay Victorio. It is followed by a performance of the advisers of each section by their skills in dancing. After   that, a dinner break is followed while the advisers were choosing the most beautiful and handsome in their section that will represent their section for the Mr. and Ms. Hawaiian Luan. After the break, the search has started. After all the candidates had already ramp, Mr. Pj Lara, son of Mrs. Edita Lara, sing a song for us with his guitar. After that, the judges had already known who wins in that night. Then all the teachers dance a sweet music with a student to choose who will be the King and Queen of the Night. And the King of the Night was Mr. Ian Villareal and the Queen of the Night is Mrs. Audije. Then the party had already begun. There are sweet moments like the students who were dancing with their boyfriends, crushes, best friends, friends, etc… The happy moments with your friends like bonding, picture taking, etc… That night was really the best! The prom was lasts at 4:00 A.M. Before they leave the gym, the teachers make sure that it was clean then they can go.
Other says high school life was the happiest part of our life ever. I agree with that because there are a lot of sacrifices, bad and good moments, and the wherein you got attracted to your opposite sex. For me, High School Life is the Best!

In the field of mathematics, there are a lot of competitions that you can compete. One of the most popular math competitions is the Metrobank MTAP-Challenge which is sponsored by the Metrobank. When I’m a second year student, I compete in the said competition with Marian Carmella Calanasan and Honey Rose Toledo together with our coach, Mrs. Louisa Bondad. In the elimination round, wherein the top 10 schools who got the highest scores will be participating in the second round, we got the second place. In the MTAP Oral-Written round where there is the easy (2 pts. each correct answers), average (3pts.) and difficult round (5 pts.), our school, Dizon High, and the San Pablo City Science High School was tied after the three rounds, so we took the clincher round, after the three questions, we won the Division Oral-Written and we will be competing for the regional.
We have only three days to review for the competitions because our coach was too busy. In the day of the competition, we’re so nervous because we didn’t have enough time to review. In the easy round, our score is low, so we thought that we’ll lose this competition. But we didn’t lose hope, we strengthen ourselves and promised to have perfect scores in average and difficult round to recoup, we thought we’re in second place but one proctor came to us and said we’re the champion. We take a look again to the scoreboard and it’s true, we won! We’re happy! Our coach was happy for us! We did it!
At the announcing of winners, we’re proud to be a Dizonian and a product of San Pablo City.
There are lessons that we learned. One of those lessons is, don’
